Trucks are a mode of transport used in private companies and large corporations.
Truck users are obviously hauliers who can increase company sales or logistics services.
In general, the types of trucks we often encounter are almost the same, some people only understand small trucks (single) and large trucks (fused).
TYPES OF GOODS CARRIERS
Trucks have different types based on their functions and uses, truck types that are well known in the track world such as Single Truck, Fused, Tritin, Triton, Pickup and various other terms that some people are still confused about , and what's the difference? Please look at the different types of trucks according to the explanation below.
ENGKEL TRUCK (COLT DIESEL)
Colt Diesel Trucks or often also called Single Trucks have 2 axles at the front and 2 axles at the rear. The Colt diesel has a payload of 5 tons.
DOUBLE TRUCK (DOUBLE COLT DIESEL)
Colt diesel double trucks or often also called double trucks have 2 axles at the front and 2 axles at the rear that carry 4 wheels. The payload is 6 tons.
FUSO TRUCK
Almost like a double truck, only the payload is greater than that of a double truck. The payload ranges from 7 to 8 tons, which is also structurally longer than that of a double truck.
TRUCK TRAILER
Semi-trailer payloads vary from 20 to 60 tons as this type of truck is typically owned by large companies.
There are 2 types of trucks that are commonly used. This is a 20 foot trailer with 4 to 5 axles and a 40 foot trailer has 6 axles with a total of 12 to 24 wheels.
TRUCK CONTAINER
Basically the same as a tractor-trailer, just different names. This is due to its use for container transport.
If a semi-trailer is used for container transport, it is automatically referred to as a container truck.
TRONTON TRUCK
This type of truck has 3 axles, 1 front axle and 2 rear axles. It has a total of 10 wheels, divided into 2 front wheels and 8 rear wheels.
The payload of the Tronton truck can carry a load of 10 to 20 tons.
WINGBOX TRUCK
It is referred to as a forklift because it can be opened on the three sides of this truck at the same time, i.e. right, left and back.
The composition of the wheel axle does not differ significantly from the type of Tronton truck.
Wingbox trucks are still relatively rare and few companies have this type of truck.
TRINTIN TRUCK
At first glance it looks like a Tronton truck, only the payload is larger - up to 20-30 tons.
The Trintin Truck has FWS (Four Wheel Steering) power steering so that the 4 front and center wheels can be turned.
TRITON TRUCK
With a payload of 30 to 40 tons, this type of truck is even larger than the Tronton truck and the Trintin truck.
It has 4 wheel axles, which are divided into 2 front axles with power steering of the FWS type and 2 rear axles, which are arranged almost next to each other. The Trinton Truck has 12 wheels, 4 front wheels and 8 rear wheels.
PICKUP TRUCK
A pickup is the smallest type of truck, we usually call it a pickup or company car. Because the load is only 1 ton and must not be more than 2 tons.
The pickups have a maximum capacity of 1 CBM, some have a capacity of 6 CBM, but the cabin type is also increasing.
These are some types of trucks that can be used for reference before planning to purchase this fleet of transportation vehicles. For the latter type of truck, it is usually used by small businesses or newly established freight forwarding or logistics companies.
